Sergio Selvera is a Houston-based entertainment attorney, producer, and arts advocate whose work spans film, television, music, and media. He is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Rodgers Selvera PLLC, an entertainment and media law firm representing artists, creators, producers, and other creative professionals.
Sergio most recently served as an Executive Producer of the A&E docuseries The Chicano Squad, which tells the story of a groundbreaking group of bilingual Mexican American Houston police officers who became one of the department’s most successful investigative units. The project holds a personal connection for Sergio: his father, Jose Selvera Jr., was an original member of the Chicano Squad.
Beyond his legal and producing work, Sergio is deeply involved in Houston’s arts and cultural community and currently serves as Chair of the Houston Arts Alliance. Through his work as an attorney, producer, and community leader, he is committed to helping preserve and elevate Houston stories and ensuring that the people whose experiences inspire those stories have a meaningful voice in how they are told.
